What's new?

• ftp download replaces the old thml download
• the limitation of ordering size by custom products has been adapted to 100° by 100°
• the problems with the difference map are solved
• new functionality "Maps and graphs" is added, here you can consult the following derived products: 1. Product Map: shows the chosen product in original format where each pixel is classified according to a pre-defined colour map. You can navigate through the map and by clicking on the map you get the original pixel values. 2. Region Map: classifies the chosen product by countries and regions. The values are aggregated according to your choice: minimum, maximum, average or standard deviation. The data will also be retrievable in a report. 3. Time series by location: You create a time serie graph for the chosen product, a given period and location. You can enter the location by clicking on a map or by entering the lat/long co-ordinates. The original value for the given location is plotted on the graph. The data will also be retrievable in a report. 4. Time serie by region: You create a time serie graph for the chosen product, a given period and a region. The values of the original product are first aggregated by region and than plotted on the graph. The data will also be retrievable in a report.

What's new?

• You can now create custom products, prepared according to your requirements (ROI and format). Size of products will drastically decrease and thus speed up download time. Custom products are created within less then a few minutes.
• With the QuickViewer you can preview products before you order them and have them customised.

From 28th April, the Geosuccess-forum has been activated

From 1 February 2003 on, the VEGETATION products will be produced from data acquired by the VGT2 instrument on board of SPOT 5.

As from today, the GLOBSCAR products are freely downloadable.

2002/09/26 - GLOBSCAR
The content of the GLOBSCAR-pages and the GLOBSCAR-products in the catalogue have been changed.
It is possible to download the GLOBSCAR-products, but only if you have special authorities. If you are a regular user, you do not have access to the GLOBSCAR-products.

October 14th and 15th, 2001 -
Vito has announced the Geosuccess-site at the Belgian EU Presidency Conference "GMES: Towards Implementation". The site gives access to a variety of operational products, which give timely information on the evolution of the vegetation cover and on the appearance of unexpected events. Some of these products are developed in-house, while others come from associated institutes.
